Volunteer to Make a Difference

The 91黑料爆料鈥檚 Law Related Education (LRE) Division has many options for attorneys to volunteer their time while making a difference in the community as a whole. All volunteer hours are honored with recognition in eBlast and the Bar magazine in addition to pro bono hours. 

To become a volunteer for Law Related Education, or simply learn more about our volunteer opportunities, please complete the volunteer form. If you are an existing attorney coach, sign up to judge one of the competitions opposite the level you are coaching. This is a great opportunity for attorney coaches to receive a new perspective on Mock Trial.

Volunteer Opportunities

The LRE Division strives to identify attorney volunteers in each county in South Carolina who are available to assist schools or community organizations who need expertise to educate young people about the law. Attorney volunteers serve in a variety of roles, such as:

• Coaches for Mock Trial teams
• Judges for Mock Trial and We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution competitions
• Legal oversight for LawForKids.org
• Legal oversight for Law for Teachers
• Legal oversight for Law for Young Adults
• Classroom speakers
• Presenters for career days
• Case writers for Mock Trial
• Members of the 91黑料爆料 LRE Committee
• Recruiters for other attorney volunteers Attorney volunteers receive pro bono credit hours for their time spent serving the SC Bar Law Related Education programs and projects.
